Hi, I’m Lucy, a personal trainer based in Milton under Wychwood, passionate about guiding our community toward healthier, stronger lives.

My Philosophy

Our bodies are built to move and I want to help you reclaim your strength, energy, and confidence as you age. Whether you’re navigating menopause, recovery, or a long-term condition, I’m here to help you build lasting strength and feel good in your body for years to come.

What I can do for you

I am passionate about ageing with vitality and believe midlife and beyond is the time to do more not less.

There is a damaging narrative that midlife is when we should slow down and protect our bodies from wear and tear.

In reality movement is the very thing that keeps our physiology healthy. Staying active and strong will help prevent and manage age-related conditions like heart disease, diabetes, dementia and frailty.

Strength training

This is my passion and I love coaching the confidence to lift heavy weights.  Getting stronger really is like the ’secret sauce’ to feeling good in your body.

Nutrition Guidance

I can support you in understanding how to build healthy habits and navigate the complex world of ‘health marketing’ and the food landscape…  If you have specific dietary needs, I am plugged into a wonderful professional network of specialist in their fields.

Exercise & Ageing

I particularly enjoy working with older adults and love to encourage people of any age to do more safely and with confidence.

Recover from Illness or Surgery

I am pleased to work with those feeling a little fragile post-op or treatment to build their resilience through movement.

Overall Wellbeing

I want to support you if you are struggling to move your body and need a coach and environment that feels safe and encouraging.

My Fitness Studio

A fully equipped private gym with a view, right on your doorstep in Milton under Wychwood. I work with individuals or small groups (up to 3 people) inside, and when the weather is dry, I throw open the doors and can welcome more outside.

You’ll find a squat rack and barbell setup, dumbbells, kettlebells and a variety of other tools to challenge and strengthen your body.

Something about Lucy…

I’ve lived in the village for over 20 years and feel lucky to be part of our community. After having our two boys, I shifted gears from a corporate career into the world of health and wellbeing—I’ve never looked back.

Like many, I found those early years of motherhood really challenging. That sparked my passion for learning about strength, movement, and feeling good in your body—especially when life is overwhelming. There’s so much conflicting information out there, it can be hard to know what’s real and what’s just noise.

My goal is to cut through the confusion and help people build a sustainable, strength-focused approach to fitness that fits you—your body, your life, and your goals.

I have been training with Lucy for the last 2 years. Her training makes me stronger, more balanced and more subtle at the same time. I know my body much better and am physically more confident.
